As a friend of the Daughtry's, they wanted me to pass word on to all of you to let you know how much they appreciate the sweet gifts, money and encouragement they've received. You guys are awesome! Chris also wanted to let you you know that some of the phone interviews that went to print came across as arrogant and was not at all how it was intended. He was concerned that you would think that all of this had gone to his head, but is not the case. He is still learning to navigate through this new world. Thank you for your continued support.

| How wonderful of Chris to take the time to let his fans know how he feels and the concern he had for us. At least we know that Chris knows we were supporting him 100% and that what happened was beyond our control...AI claims they are innocent, FOX claims they are innocent, Chris' fans didn't slack off on voting so they are innocent....So who's the guilty party in all this??? The Higher Power!! Rock On Chris!!! We are behind you 100% in whatever your future holds!! |

We were just more concerned as to how he was doing and how he was handling all this. We love him, and his family,,and we will always be there to support him thru his entire career. I WILL SUPPORT YOU THROUGH WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE DUDE!! You were the reason I started watching AI anyway.. I only watched the season with Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken. But this season when I heard your first audition.. wow!!! But anyway...screw AI! They screwed you over! Dude.. do not believe that your fans did not vote for you . I have heard more stories than I can count of people who tried to vote for you but kept getting the other contestants' thank yous instead of yours. Also, people had error messages coming .. and a Verizon employee confirmed that one of your lines was down. ROCK ON WITHOUT AI!! AI SUCKS! Though they did help you get publicity and be heard!
You are extremely talented and will succeed no matter what if you keep your spirit up and stay focused. |

| I have never voted for an american idol...that is until this year. My husband has never watched american idol until this year. I wanted to see Chris win. My husband and I have two children that also watch american idol. As the show ended we sat-jaws dropped in silence. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Most of those voting are kids and they've never even heard of the real rock bands that my husband and I (both 70's kids) grew up on. I wish Chris and his family the best of luck-although I don't believe he will need it. He has so much talent and a LARGE fan base. I am looking foreward to the career that he has ahead of him. I just want to thank him for being real and being true to the person that he was throughout the show. Its hard to find real people around anymore. |

Chris,
First of all let me say hold your head up Chris. I have watched this show from day 1 this season, to be honest my wife and I thought you would win hands down. Im 31 yrs of age Im in the US Navy and I never thought I would make it as far as I have. Iam a First Class Petty Officer and have been in going on 13 years serving this country. It is people like yourself that help me strive for further greatness and goals.
I saw what had happend this week and you and I both know that happend because alot of people just thought (don't vote for Chris he will be safe). Id like for you to get back on the show because America knows it was a bad choice. I know you are a family man and I admire that, not many fathers are in the world.
You have to look at it this way, you wanted to achieve something, you wanted to provide for your family. Chris you have met that goal rather you win American Idol or not, you will have a record deal and you will go far in life with this career move, why because you are a fighter and you have won the fight. You have supporters in the Military Chris here in San Diego, Im one of them hell I even shaved my head BALD. I look forward to purchasing your CD's when they hit the shelves. Remember you did it, TV show or no TV show you did it keep your head up!
