well what a beautiful thing to read and it being said about me is totally uplifting. thank you.
when i first joined the gang it was mostly to get to look at more pictures of chris and listen to his voice and just chat about his performances. boy have we come along way. this is a very faithful group of people and it means so much more to me that just idol chatter. our love of chris has created a special bond here and you all are the most caring people i know.

You both are so right. I had never ever joined any type of a forum or chat group due to things I had heard, and just negativity that I had seen on some I visited in the past,,,So I was hesitant joining, but Like Pearls said, I did it to be closer to Chris and see more of him,,etc. Boy,,I cannot believe how this group has grown into such a family. Your right Pearls, this is the most caring group of people I know. Its weird to,,,We have never met anyone in person from this group, except for a few of us who did at the concerts, and yet we are not strangers at all to eachother, and we can tell everyone here just about anything thats going on, no matter now personal it is. Its just mind blowing to me, and after the past year that I have had, this has been a godsend for me. I love everyone here, you are ALL MY FAMILY. |

Pearls, I have posted previously that I think it would be great for us to have a Daughtry Gang convention after the DAUGHTRY tour is over, maybe somewhere close to where Chris is and invite he and his family. I know I would make plans for that and hopefully Chris and Deanna, and the kids if they wanted, would come. Plus we could all meet and have a wonderful time!! I know it's far in advance to think along those lines, but I'm a planner. I know I mentioned this to Laura, but since you said something about Chris meeting the Daughtry Gang, I thought I would tell you about my idea. |

| You know, if there were to be a Daughtry Gang convention, i would definitly drive the distance to be apart of it. I love The Daughtry Gang, I come here at least once a day, or more if i have the day off. I find out most of my information from everyone here about chris. When i get home from work , i come on here and and can see what i have missed. Everyone here has been nice, and respectful, and is a great bunch of people. |

AAAWWW!!! everyone is sooo sweet! i LOVE it here! you all are right...this is such a strange experience because we dont "know" each other but yet its like you all are my best friends and family!! i never would have expected this site to make me feel like this! I THINK WE SHOULD TRY TO HAVE A DG MEET AND GREET!!! that would be hard tho cuz there are sooo many of us!

| I think if we started planning it long in advance,,where , when, etc etc. We could pull it off,,and more ppl could plan on coming, save the money , get of work or school, whatever. I think it would be a great way to show Chris how much we love him, besides all the gifts and letters and emails, etc that we have sent him. Making this more of a Thing for him and his family , As well as us. Make it so he wouldnt get bombarded. Like,,we could have a luncheon in a large convention room. Have a head table where chris and his entire family would site, along with Tammy and maybe the mods ( Ok, I know Im one,,couldnt resist. LOL ) And we could sorta "toast" him. Really celebrate him and all he has done for us. Just an idea,,but I think it would be really neat. |
