The following information has been posted at the AI forums. I am hoping that I will be able to go down to be a part of the delivery effort - time and scheduling permitting.

I just want to THANK everybody for participating in OPERATION HOME. It is a big success and now we are starting to get back "thank you's" from the troops who have already received their DAUGHTRY CD's/care packages. Remember this is a year round project and it is still going strong .
Now we are going to be doing A VERY SPECIAL PART of OPERATION HOME in which a group of DAUGHTRY fans are going to be going to Walter Reed Hospital and Bethesda Hospital in January and will be giving the troops as they come home DAUGHTRY CDs and care packages. THIS IS GOING TO BE A MAJOR EVENT! Both Walter Reed Hospital and Bethesda Hospital are very excited and thankfull!
NAME: OPERATION HOME: MISSION HOMEFRONT
WHAT IS IT: A group of DAUGHTRY fans are going to Walter Reed Hospital and Bethesda Hospital on a SPECIFIC day in January to thank the troops for their service by giving them care packages and DAUGHTRY CDs in which we are dedicating the troops the song "HOME" for their welcome home. This group of DAUGHTRY fans are going to be joined by celebrities to bring cheer to the troops AFTER the Holidays when the loneliness often is the worst for there are less volunteers/care packages/family & friends who come to visit.
WHEN IS IT: We are working with the public affairs offices of Walter Reed Hospital and Bethesda Hospital for a SPECIFIC date in January as we speak and this will be posted as soon as we know (hopefully this week).
WHAT CAN YOU DO: We need a minimum of 200 CDs from Chris fans in order to visit the troops in the hospitals (according to public affairs a minimum of 100 CDs for each hospital). Thus we are asking Chris fans to order a CD or CDs online on Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Nobles, etc and send them DIRECTLY to the following address:

Many online stores are giving FREE SHIPPING to a destination if you mark the box for 5-9 business days for shipping. If you have any extra DAUGHTRY CDs laying around as well after you have given all your family and friends their stocking stuffers, please send them to the above adress as well.
DEADLINE ON SENDING CDs to the above address: The last date to send DAUGHTRY CDs to the above address is JANUARY 6TH.
WHO CAN PARTICPATE: If you want to visit the troops at Walter Reed Hospital/Bethesda Hospial with the group of DAUGHTRY fans and celebrities please PM me. We are working right now with the public affairs office on how many people can be in the group and the exact date. However, if you want to go, please PM me so I can start getting a count.
PLEASE PARTICIPATE AND DONATE CDS FOR THIS PROJECT. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS WE DAUGHTRY FANS CAN DO!!!

UPDATE -
Well, it looks like, barring any unforseen tradgedy, that I WILL in fact be accompanying the delivery for this project.

Operation Home : Mission Homefront has nearly reached the halfway point for our goal of 200 Daughtry CD's to be delivered to the wounded service members in Walter Reed and Bethesda hospitals. We have confirmed January 16th as the delivery date, and we have confirmed our celbrety's ability to accompany us! (Sorry, their identity will remain classified until after we go, so as to be a surprise, but trust me, they guys and gals will be thrilled!) Thanks to all who have contributed up to this point, and if you wish to participate it's not too late!
